On the outside this Factory original 440 GTX appears as a modified car, however it has one of the most original and unmodified bodies that you will find.
This GTX boasts retaining all of the; sheet metal, frame rails and floor pans that it left the factory with! If you know MOPAR cars of the 60s and 70s you know this kind of body is very unusual and highly desirable. This car has never been rusted and never in a collision that required panel repairs. This factor is extremely important in a unibody vehicle as the car's structural integrity remains uncompromised.
The paint and drivetrain of this GTX have been modified from the factory components but it would be quite easy to return the car to factory configuration.
This GTX was originally a dark green car with a silver vinyl bucket seat interior. As you can see the paint has been changed to a vivid combination of bright white with green accents. The interior retains the original seat covers and door panels which have survived the years in exceptional condition.
The current engine is a very strongly built 440 engine pushing well over 400 horse power. A recently overhauled 727 automatic transmits power to an 8 3/4 rear end.
Leave this GTX as it is and drive the tires off it, make the modifications to bring it back to stock, or modify it to your tastes.
What ever your desire you will be very hard pressed to find a better body than this GTX offers.
